Huskies of all kinds have a very long history of being sled-dogs. Siberian huskies were used as assistants hunting trips and helping people in Siberia already more than 3,000 years ago. Winter is the most natural habitat for huskies and pulling sleds in deep snow is what they do best and they enjoy it more than anything. They don't mind the freezing weather, actually they love the arctic temperatures. Due to their history they are very energetic and athletic as well as playful, kind and social. Besides running and pulling sleds they love to eat, sleep, dig and to be pampered. Huskies have great individual personalities and they all look different from each other. Their looks can also change when they age.
